Workshop for parents

As part of the In The Same Boat Conference, we are preparing a workshop with Jitka Ševčíková – the lecturer, mentor and coach in the field of stress resistance and emotional management.
The workshop is dedicated to all parents of children with disabilities or special needs who take care of their children continuously. The capacity of the workshop is 30 participants. We recognize that the parents are often neglected and not given enough attention. Nevertheless, as full-time caregivers, they are at risk of burnout, as any other profession.
Do not hesitate to sign up for the “In the Same Boat” Conference on Early Intervention and Interdisciplinary Cooperation and Family Support – May 12th – 13 th, 2022 in Zlín. You can register for the whole conference or only for the workshop for parents. Completing the registration guarantees you a free access to the Conference.
The workshop with Jitka Ševčíková will take place on Friday, May 13th 5. 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Who is Jitka Ševčíková:
Jitka has been happily married for 35 years to the sculptor Petr Ševčík, with whom she has three children. She is the founder of the Colorful Angel Project, which provides psychological help to families and siblings after the death of a child. She lives in Moravský Kras and Prague.
She mentors and supports selected philanthropic projects. She also provides training for several Early Intervention centres. She is a co-author of the book With Love and Reason (Albatros, C-Press 2015). She was awarded by the All for Women Festival with the “Ostara” Award for her contribution to the society. She was nominated for Woman of the Year and Lecturer of the Year awards.
Workshop for Professionals
May 13th, Zlín UTB
The topic of parental exhaustion is one of the frequent outcomes of TAC meetings. Therefore, we are preparing a workshop on “How to support parents in difficult life situations” for professionals from the social, health and education field. The workshop will be lectured by Dominika Marková– a mental coach and therapist.
Dominika has vast experience in family diagnostics and therapy. She is an experienced therapist of the Family Constellation method. We will explore possibilities of an appropriate support of a client family enduring a difficult period of life.
The number of participants of the Workshop for Professionals is not limited, however, it is necessary to register in advance by April 22nd 2022. Completing the registration guarantees you a free access to the Conference.
The workshop with Dominika Marková will take place on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Who is Dominika Marková:
Dominika is a mother of two daughters, a wife, a woman leading a woman’s life in all of it’s aspects. She works in a therapeutic studio in Prague, which she created for individual, couples and group therapy and for personal development. Se has been working with clients for over 20 years. She is the author and lecturer of many experiential workshops and the Experience Expression method. She gained her knowledge of various approaches and techniques of Western and Eastern philosophy, psychology and psychotherapy from renowned professors of psychotherapeutic faculties and enlightened collaborators of Osho, among others.
